I do apologise for the delay in the next part for Stellar Drift and for those who have been waiting so long for the chapter to release. Several things took a great deal of time to bring this next part together, but it is now in the editing and polishing stage. A heartfelt thanks to everyone still interested in the story despite the current delays!
Hey all. I will be out of town for a few days dealing with a family matter. This has taken up a lot of planning time over the past week so the next part will be delayed until April 10. I will have time after I get back to finish the delayed part and should be able to get the next one up in quick succession. I will be posting on a timetable in the following manner, on the first and 15th of each month, as work is getting very busy moving into the warmer months. A cleanup/light re-write of the first few chapters is also under way, just to make a better polish as I still see ‘first draft’ remnants when I go back over the older chapters. That project, being intended as a book release, is still a ways out as I prioritize the new content first. Character and concept art has been talked about by a few people, though many readers enjoy making things up in their own mind, rather than being shown ‘what something looks like’. I will look into a way to approach that when the time comes. Will likely be on an image posting site where people can go to if they wish, without spoiling things for those that do not want to see how a character or thing looks in general.
