An unlikely couple discovers time travel in a strange library housed in appears to be a Spanish Galleon. The young woman is a fact-checker. Constantly correcting and annoyingly criticizing. Not very popular as a result. Her partner is a gadgeteer tinkerer. Barely making a minimal living. Somehow the odd chemistry between them is enabling time travel at whim jn the library.
