The Lost Colony

Science Fiction Story: Volume V of the Earthbound Series: By a few hundred years after the founding of Nykkyo's homeworld Florans had returned to space to colonize other worlds. One such colony was Varada, which eventually left the hegemony but now desires re-unification. With his talent with languages, Nyk accompanies a delegation to Varada, to serve as interpreter. There, he learns a terrible secret about Varadan society, and he uncovers a sinister motive behind a Floran faction's interest in the forsaken world.
