Just submitted what I can only call a whimsy. The kernel of this one came to me in the early 90's. It surfaced every so often, until 2013 or so, when it more or less completed itself. Posted elsewhere under an old pen name. If nothing else, hope "A Republic of Dogs" gives you a quick smile. hhj
