Chapter 15: Looking for Kolev

  [Sixth floor, room 525, Kolev.

  Who is this?

Hamilton was unimpressed and calmly tore the note into pieces and dipped it into the vegetable soup.

No matter what, it’s better to have a goal than to be a headless fly.

The bottle of medicine Lina brought would keep Hamilton going for a few months, giving him enough time to find Kolev before the next trial.

Unfortunately, after a week of hard work, Hamilton still couldn’t see the real person, but Hamilton got a lot of information about Kolev.

This is a notorious pirate in the interstellar sky. He’s been in Interstellar for over 40 years. He single-handedly created the powerful Black Dragon Pirate Group and is a wanted criminal in dozens of countries.

  Listen, big pirate!

What do pirates do for a living?

A pirate ship that can jump!

Even though this old pirate is already behind bars, he must know something about the black market and must have the means to build a ship!

The moment he heard that Kolev was a pirate leader, Hamilton had already given his future private spaceship a cute name.

Hamilton’s week of searching for Kolev actually had other fun things.

The three groups of officials from the ‘Imperial Military Intelligence Division 12’ came again.

They did not appear on the same day, and they all knew about the existence of the other two groups of ‘liars’.

Three batches of intelligence officers all emphasized that they were true and the other two batches were false, but did not reveal any more effective information to Hamilton.

In fact, Hamilton already knew it before taking the capsule given by Lina.

The first intelligence officers Hamilton met that day were from the Sherman Empire.

They constantly emphasized self-sacrifice and imperial glory, and their words towards Hamilton had a superior-to-subordinate arrogance.

The intention of the Sherman Empire’s Military Intelligence Office was to let Hamilton stay here and deny the existence of the Valkyrie Project during the second public trial, and claimed that this was a slander against the Empire by the New Federation.

  It’s very imperial.

The second batch of intelligence officers that day should have come from other major forces, most likely from the New Federation.

The focus of their conversation was on the ‘Valkyrie Project’ and ‘Kigrove’s Experiment’. They were obviously more interested in the information about the Valkyrie Project and wanted to get some information from Hamilton.

The third batch of intelligence officers was the one with Dr. Lina.

That’s right, in Hamilton’s judgment, Dr. Lina was not from the Sherman Empire camp because there were too many unreasonable circumstances.

First, Lina knew that he was a cyborg, but she took the initiative to keep his secret. After learning that the research ship was destroyed by the cyborg Valkyrie, Lina reacted too calmly throughout the whole process.

Second, Lina easily obtained the genetic stabilizing potion and appeared in front of her with two ‘Imperial Intelligence Officers’; and her identity in the Empire was just an ordinary doctor who had nothing to do with the military.

Third, Lina’s temperament after taking off her white coat is so charming.

During these two meetings, Dr. Lina’s crow’s feet at the corners of her eyes disappeared, and her entire appearance seemed to be more than ten years younger, exuding feminine charm.

This change is actually very sudden.

If Hamilton’s guess was correct, what Lina was plotting should be his body.

To be precise, what Lina wants is the remaining fruit of the Martial God Project, she wants to fish him out, and then continue her research on gene fusion.

She might be from the New Federation, she might be from the United Free States, or she might be from the Guel Alliance ... There is a high probability that she is one of the four major forces in the galaxy.

For the intelligence organizations of various countries, the existence of the Valkyrie Project is not a secret, otherwise it would not attract investigation ships that no one would care about. It’s not too normal for one or two spies from other forces to appear on Kilgrove’s ship.

’Let’s find the big pirate Kolev first. ‘

Hamilton took out the medicine given by Lina and swallowed the third capsule.

Lina’s goal is to get him away secretly, so that he will not lose control and run away. At most, these capsules will be mixed with some positioning markers, so the effectiveness of the medicine is guaranteed.

  ”Hanton...”

The old roommate suddenly spoke, came to Hamilton’s side with a somewhat solemn expression, lowered his head and said a few words.

”Mr. Pailin wants to see you. When you go on a tour this afternoon, remember to meet Mr. Pailin.”

  ”Bailin?”

Hamilton felt a little guilty in his heart.

He taught Pailin a lesson, and Pailin gave him Kolev’s name and cell number. Wasn’t this clear?

”Alas,” Roommate A sighed in a low voice, “Son, Mr. Bailin is not easy to mess with. I hope you will not have any conflicts with him.”

”Thank you for the reminder,” Hamilton said with a smile, “I have great respect for Mr. Pailin.”

  Verbal respect.

  ...

In the afternoon, Hamilton found the old Pailin who was enjoying a delicious steak.

”It’s not easy to get access to Kolev.”

Pailin wiped his mouth, and the sauce with unknown ingredients stuck to his beard, making him look a little funny.

Hamilton, who was sitting aside, raised his eyebrows, declined the soda offered by the strong man beside him, and stared at Pailin quietly.

  Old Pailin smiled and said:

”Kolev is regarded as the worst prisoner in this prison, which is an honor for the prison authorities - you can understand it.

”He is in the innermost part of the sixth floor. He lives in a fully enclosed single room, and his break time is in the morning, together with the officials on the first floor.
