Chapter 17: The Man Behind the Scenes

Helipad Six is located on the sixth floor of Cole Harbor Prison.

Starting from Hamilton’s cell, you only need to pass through two safe passages to reach the deck that continues out.

No matter who looked at it, the escape route was almost perfect without the interference of guards.

It seems that there are only two difficulties left for Hamilton and the others to escape from prison - a small spacecraft that can be driven, and a guard cannon on the outside of the prison.

In the long, narrow and empty passage, two figures were walking quickly forward against the wall, and cameras everywhere locked their figures in succession.

Kolev followed Hamilton, and the old man, who had only put on a jacket on top of his prison clothes and leather boots on his feet, was constantly persuading Hamilton in a weak voice:

”Young first mate, I just thought about it seriously. Now we should find a way to capture their main control room, the main control room! Instead of going to the tiger mountain knowing that there are tigers in the mountain!”

”We have to go slower,” Hamilton said, “so as to give the mastermind behind the scenes some time to prepare, the old first mate.”

”My old despicable man! Are you their internal agent?Kolev stared at Hamilton’s back, “In front is the tarmac. There must be several powerful mechanical guards waiting to shoot us. We can’t fight with the mechanical guards., to find those guards who are easy to knock down and are now sleepy.”

Hamilton scolded: “Keep your voice down! If you don’t follow the script they set, they will definitely sound the alarm!”

”The script they set is for us to die on tarmac 6!” Kolev argued with reason.

”We can only look for opportunities in seemingly hopeless situations!”

  ”But this!”

  ”Shh!”

Hamilton made a squatting gesture, and the two squatted down at the same time.

Through the narrow window of the passage, Hamilton quietly observed the tarmac.

”Did you notice?” Hamilton asked, “the two cameras above us are turned off.”

”Oh, yes,” Kolev whispered, “They monitored us all the way, but they chose not to monitor us here. The place ahead must be our execution.”

The area of the tarmac is the size of a football field. A two-person small aircraft is parked there, and the surroundings are quiet and seem to be nothing out of the ordinary.

Several cameras placed on the tarmac are also turned off.

Hamilton thought a little in his heart.

Assuming that this was a trap, they were under surveillance the whole way from the prison cell to here. Their actions along the way could already prove their crime of escaping from prison. The video left at the ‘execution ground’ would easily reveal flaws.

”There must be an ambush ahead. We should find a way to sneak attack the main control room,” the old man whispered.

Hamilton smiled and said: “First officer, use your rich experience to analyze it?”

  ”Analyze what?”

”Now there are three forces targeting me. The only thing I can be sure of is that one force wants to keep me alive. The purpose of the other two forces is unclear.”

Hamilton asked: “In this case, what are the odds that this escape will get us out safely?”

  ”zero.”

Kolev’s beard trembled: “Believe me, it’s absolutely zero.”

”Okay,” Hamilton said, “You’ll be here later. It’s safe here for now, okay?”

”We need a plan! We need a plan! I’m not going to die with you!”

  ”Don’t worry, I’m sure.”

Before Kolev could speak again, Hamilton had already jumped out.

As nimble as a black cat, he headed straight for the aircraft in the center of the tarmac.

  ”This! Ouch!”

Kolev didn’t expect the young man to run away suddenly.

Just as the old man was about to stand up, the light of a laser gun firing appeared in the corner; a red light flashed around the young man who was charging forward, and he fell to the ground.

Kolev crouched down quickly, breathing rapidly and frowning tightly.

This interesting young man paid the price for his recklessness, which even brought him into a desperate situation. This is really...

  Wait, something’s not right?

Kolev, who was about to leave secretly, continued to observe through the narrow window, keeping a close eye on Hamilton.

Several mechanical guards came out of the corner, and behind them were two half-bald old men.

  Superintendent Gulipa holding a civilized stick;

There was also the old Pailin who followed with a humble face, nodding and bending.

Kolev couldn’t hear what they said clearly, but the warden Gulipa had already looked at the small window, and the two mechanical guards turned and walked in Kolev’s direction.

Kolev frowned. He knew that this matter had been messed up by the young man in front of him, but his chance of winning was only slim. He could not blame this young man entirely. The supervisor was too cunning.

At this moment, Kolev did not move, quietly waiting for the arrival of the mechanical guard. He was still watching Hamilton.

  Kolev’s premonition grew stronger.

Maybe something will happen next ... No, something will definitely happen next!

  Sudden!

Hamilton, who was lying on the ground, almost flew up on his side, hitting the two mechanical guards beside him with his fist and soles at the same time!

Two blue-painted mechanical heads were thrown away.

  Such strong muscle strength!

  What amazing body coordination!

Kolev stared at this scene, his open mouth unable to close for a while.

Not only Kolev, but Gulipa and Lao Pailin were also greatly frightened. Before Gulipa could even draw his gun, the four mechanical guards had lost their ability to move, and their heads were all smashed off!

The big hands like iron hoops grabbed the warden Gulipa’s throat and lifted him up directly.

There was no scar on Hamilton’s forehead, and he was staring at Gulipa calmly at the moment. Gulipa pressed his left hand to his jacket pocket, and was gently pinched by Hamilton’s other hand.

There was an emergency siren in his pocket. Hamilton pulled it out first, then looked at Gulipa up and down. The latter and the old Pailin next to him raised their hands tremblingly.

”This ... how is this possible...” Gulipa roared with great effort.

”Haha! Hahaha! This is a miracle!”

Kolev rushed out excitedly and danced for a while, unable to find a suitable adjective at all.

Hamilton didn’t pay any attention to this crazy old man.

He threw the alarm over, pulled out the pistol with golden patterns from Gulipa’s arms, threw the supervisor to the ground and pressed his foot on his chest. The muzzle of the pistol was pressed against the forehead of the old Bailin next to him...

”Tell me what I want to know,” Hamilton said. “Whoever speaks in ten seconds will live. Ten, nine, eight, seven...”
