Chapter 4: Thank You Hanton

  escape!

Hamilton’s ears continued to ring, and he felt dizzy and had a strong urge to vomit.

The moment the red light burst, Hamilton was already running wildly, but he still couldn’t escape the influence of the red light.

  ”The Valkyrie has escaped!”

He screamed at the top of his lungs.

Many men and women nearby began to lower their heads and vomit. Some precision instruments emitted weak electric arcs, and screams and shouts came one after another.

Seven or eight men and women in white coats rushed to the cabin where the Valkyrie was; their eyes reflected light red light, and their faces were extremely pious.

V Valkyrie has long secretly controlled the experimenters who have the closest contact with her!

Hamilton ran straight to the nearest fire emergency exit, not forgetting to slap the alarm bell on the wall, causing the piercing alarm to ring throughout the entire scientific research ship.

”Brother can only help you so far.”

Climbing quickly along the spiral staircase, climbing hundreds of steps in one breath, Hamilton heard screams coming from below the passage.

  There was a direct firefight!

Three horizontal safety gates were closing quickly, cutting off the spiral staircase. The highest safety gate was at Hamilton’s feet.

’Can this kind of alloy gate that can withstand high-energy laser beams block Valkyrie? ‘

Hamilton felt insecure at the time.

The wall conveyed the calm voice of the announcer, reading out evacuation tips, asking various departments to prepare for evacuation, and marking the location of the escape boats.

Soon, the hull began to tremble slightly, and the battle in the bottom cabin became fierce.

It may be that the strenuous movement of climbing stairs caused an old injury. As Hamilton was running wildly, his eyes gradually became bloodshot, his ear canal filled with buzzing sounds, and a strong sense of dizziness kept coming like a wave.

He didn’t want to stop at all.

The worsening concussion is nothing to worry about based on medical methods of interstellar civilization.

But if you run slower and get caught by Valkyrie, your head will be chopped off!

This physical strength played a key role, and Hamilton rushed straight to the top of the safety channel in one breath.

He could barely make it out of the nearby exit.

The dizziness became more and more severe, and I could hardly stand.

But when Hamilton discovered the safety gate that was slowly lowering not far ahead, he jumped out quickly, dived forward, and barely rolled into the inside of the gate.

  Ding, ding, ding—

The noise, like the sound of a dozen coins spinning in a metal bowl, kept ringing in Hamilton’s ears.

Hamilton thought of something, took out the small pocket, poured out the capsules given by Dr. Lina, crushed two of them, raised his head and swallowed.

Then he lay on the floor, breathing heavily with his eyes closed.

The tinnitus lasted for a while.

Hamilton’s breathing gradually became calmer, the bulging veins on his forehead slowly subsided, and his whole body was covered in sweat.

He raised his hand to cover his forehead. The dizziness had subsided like running water, his chest was no longer tight, and his whole mind became extremely active.

”Is this medicine laced with hormones?” The effect is so strong. ‘

When Hamilton got up, he could only hold on to the wall and walk, but after more than ten steps, his body returned to normal.

Based on the information in Hanton’s memory, he was currently very close to the bridge, and there should be no safety gates ahead.

  Hamilton’s pace gradually increased.

Disaster warnings kept coming from the walls, and eye-catching red words appeared on the monitors embedded everywhere.

Of the three lifeboats, one is placed in the outer cabin near the bridge and can hold up to 1 people.

There are usually only 40 or 50 people on the bridge, including guards. The probability of landing successfully in the lifeboat is highest from here.

Of course, the best outcome is to convince Kilgrove to abandon Valkyrie and quickly eject the bilge lab. The worst plan is to land in the lifeboat.

”The lifeboat does not have the jump function, and this is the border of the empire. There is also the danger of being trapped and dying in the starry sky.

After walking along the silver-gray corridor for a long time, two hatches with imperial emblems on them came into Hamilton’s eyes.

Biometric information was required to enter the door. He pressed his palm on the console to the left, and the two doors slowly opened to the left and right.

An electronic announcement sounded like someone who had not eaten in a small area:

”The third officer has arrived on the bridge.”

  Quite impressive.

If the engine room where the jump engine is located is the heart of the spacecraft, then the bridge is the brain of the spacecraft.

Hamilton quickly stepped inside and quickly observed the environment here.

This scientific research ship obviously spent all its money on the laboratory in the bottom tank, and the specifications of the bridge can be described as shabby.

Directly in front are connected arched windows, which offer the best view of the starry sky on the entire ship. On the left and right are control desks for trypophobia, with rows of buttons on them that numb one’s scalp.

A dozen men and women wearing imperial military uniforms sat upright at their posts, calmly and concisely delivering information, listening to instructions, and pressing buttons.

——They are responsible for controlling the navigation of the spacecraft and real-time monitoring of the overall condition of the spacecraft.

Behind these operators is a closed and transparent fire control cabin; inside are several middle-aged officers sitting, controlling various enemy weapons on the spacecraft.

Above the fire control cabin is the main console, where stands the target Hamilton is looking for at the moment - Kilgrove, as well as the captain, first mate and several other senior crew members.

Directly in front of Kilgrove was a projected screen wall on one side, showing the chaotic scene of the bottom cabin without any blind spots.

Hamilton lowered his head and moved forward. Regardless of whether he was qualified to go to the main console, he quickly jumped up the steps and stood behind several ‘bosses’.

Kigrove’s face was livid, he was leaning on a cane with both hands, his mechanical prosthetic eye was flashing red, and his dead hair was a little messy.

Hamilton was fascinated by the surveillance footage on the screen.

There was a confrontation going on in the bottom cabin, and it was clear that a fierce battle had just broken out.

More than a dozen nutrition warehouses have been opened.

Several modified humans were lying covered in blood near the nutrition warehouse, with penetrating wounds left by high-energy rays remaining on their bodies.

A little further away lay more than a dozen Imperial soldiers, their deaths more miserable, most of them with their necks broken.

At the door of the cabin where Valkyrie was located, two rows of men and women in white coats raised their hands in the air, forming a human wall in embarrassment and being held hostage by several ferocious-looking cyborgs.
