Chapter 9: Seamless Connection

  ”Hanton ... Hanton?”

Dr. Lina’s voice went from far to near.

Hamilton was like a drowning man who suddenly woke up. He opened his mouth and breathed desperately. The red spots on his skin quickly dissipated, and his pupils gradually became brighter.

Wasn’t the landing craft destroyed by the explosion?

What came into view was the low hatch and Dr. Lina’s beautiful face full of shock.

”Hanton, are you injured? Have you been genetically modified, Hanton?”

Hamilton shook his head slightly, feeling that his strength had recovered a lot. He quickly sat up and looked at the surrounding environment. The microgravity environment made him slightly uncomfortable.

The narrow cabin is almost as large as the interior of a mid-size sedan on Earth in Hamilton’s memory.

  Hamilton remembers clearly...

Fierce battles with Valkyrie, Kilgrove, cell clusters, chances of escape...

He had been knocked unconscious due to a violent impact before.

Hamilton didn’t care to observe his own injuries at this moment, and was first concerned about the condition of the spacecraft.

This is already the last hope for his and Dr. Lina’s lives.

Hamilton’s criterion for judging the condition of the spacecraft is also very simple-see whether there are many red lights on the display screens everywhere.

  ”Oh, Hanton, can we talk?”

Doctor Lina held on to the seat cushion and looked at Hamilton with worry:

”What happened? Why were you the only one who rushed in at the end? Looks like we left the first mate behind. we murdered him, right?”

”You are wrong Lina,” Hamilton said firmly. “In this situation where it is extremely difficult to protect yourself, we can only say sorry to those who failed to escape, but we can’t change much.”

Dr. Lina covered her face with her hands and said in a trembling voice: “So many people have died. What are we doing on earth?”

Hamilton sighed, feeling a little confused.

He slowly sat in the driver’s seat, and scenes flashed before his eyes.

Take a look at the timer.

  I had just been unconscious for about six minutes;

  The big explosion on the research ship happened seven minutes ago;

  What about the maintenance goggles?

Hamilton searched carefully for a while, but regrettably found that the goggles that allowed him to regain his “operational feeling” had been lost at some point.

Fortunately for Hamilton, it was the transformation of the Valkyrie’s genetic fluid that gave him excellent physical strength, and he was qualified to confront the Valkyrie head-on.

In this regard, Hamilton can only say that I am really big.

  What a great fate.

  ”Hanton, what happened before?”

Dr. Lina calmed down a little and asked gently: “I think I must know the truth of the matter.”

Hamilton looked at the black hole of space outside the front window and the orange-red star in the upper left: “I will tell you everything I can say, of course, in a nutshell.”

  ”Thank you Hanton.”

”No, we need to help each other.”

Hamilton closed his eyes and exhaled, “Oh dear, this is truly terrifying. Doctor, can you share any knowledge you may have about Project Valkyrie?”

Lina sighed, “I’m just a doctor on the ship. According to the regulations, I should not know anything about it, but I have heard them talk about it many times. I know almost everything about what I should know and what I shouldn’t know...”

”Do you know anything about Valkyrie?”

”All I know is that she’s been called a time bomb, a demon, a imprisoned god - that’s what the crew would call her.”

Dr. Lina’s eyes were filled with curiosity.

Hamilton whispered: “Then let me explain briefly, this scientific research ship is the execution place of the Valkyrie Project. The scientific research ship will not enter the hinterland of the empire and has been wandering on the edge because the Valkyrie is imprisoned.”

  whirling.

  Her name is Posuo.

  ”The Valkyrie is Kilgrove’s daughter.

”Ki Grove used it to fuse the genes of the ancient god’s life form. She is gradually transforming into a new life form of the ancient God, and gradually losing her humanity.

”She has been living on a scientific research ship, and the turmoil this time is because she wants to seize control of the scientific research ship and escape from this prison.”

Doctor Lina frowned tightly: “Is the experiment really using human bodies as samples? Hanton, have you been transformed, too? I see that your recovery from the injury just now is too abnormal.”

”Yes, Professor Kilgrove did not give me a choice.” Hamilton did not avoid the problem. “The mortality rate is 35% and the failure rate is 91%. Fortunately, I am that Nine percent.”
