Chapter 27

Hajib started to laugh as he drew Catherine toward him. Both Cythina and I yelled at Catherine, which halted her motion for a moment.

Hajib’s eyes went huge when she stopped. He then started to chant harder, as you could see the war taking place in Catherine’s mind.

I managed to make it to Catherine, grabbing her arm, she paused again. Hajib stared in non-belief as Catherine started to back away with me.

Hajib snarled as he started to chant harder, “She is mine! She has always been mine! You are nothing but a wannabe master,” he said with a sneer.

I suddenly heard my mother and father’s voices in my head. She loves you, the first and only that has captured her heart. Fight for her, she is worth it.

I felt in my heart that if I didn’t confess it to her now I would lose her forever. I again drew Felesar as I rushed toward a completely shocked Hajib.

“Why do you care,” he then sneered. “She is just a loveless and plain Jinn.”

I shouted as I met Hajib’s sword with Felesar. “Unlike you, I do love her and find you far more useless than she will ever be. She is worth more than I feel my own life is.”

I didn’t see at that moment, that Catherine’s mouth was open, as she started to glow. I also didn’t see her power start to skyrocket.

I heard a sudden shout, then the sound of a titanic gong going off. What I did see was Hajib, suddenly grabbing his chest as it seemed something was ripped from him.

“No! It’s not possible that a simple human has that much power.” He was shouting at me as he pulled his sword back to strike again.

Felesar seemed to surge as the power it held suddenly grew higher than I had ever felt. I swung toward Hajib as hard as I could, putting all my strength, love and power into it.

The look on Hajib’s face was priceless as the sword he held was torn from his grasp. I sneered at him as I growled, “You are dead, you useless piece of shit!”

I saw Hajib staring behind me, a look of terror on his face. Then I heard him whisper, “It isn’t possible.”

Hajib then started to laugh at me as he tried to grab his evil sword. I took his hand as it drew near to the hilt.

He screamed as his look bore into me. “Still I have won since it was I who took the life of your whore Jinn mother. I was more than happy to take that useless mage of your father also.”

I imagined that Hajib was supremely surprised when I did get raging mad. I just swung and cut him in half as he was vanishing, “This isn’t over!” he yelled as he vanished.

I swung again though I missed by a hair as it passed through him. I started to turn as I felt a hand on my shoulder I thought was attacking me.

Luckily, Felesar stopped me within an inch of Catherine’s chest. A chest that was heaving most lovely and slightly afraid.

I nearly dropped Felesar as my mouth fell open as I stared at Catherine. “Oh my god! I am so sorry, Catherine!” I said nearly in tears.

What I hadn’t really noticed was that Catherine was still glowing far brighter than ever before. The serene smile on her face had an immediate calming effect.

She looked at Hajib’s evil sword still glowing with an inhuman darkness. She pointed to it as it was encased in a crystal clear covering.

She brought it up to me, placing it in my arms. Felesar sighed as I took possession of the piece of evil.

“Ah brother,” I heard Felesar’s voice. “Always trying to be a harbinger of evil. Even now, you still don’t realize that you are only a tool and nothing more.”

The evil sword seemed to power up trying its best to break out of its confinement. “I AM an agent of evil, you and those goody pieces of shit will never stop me!”

“A bit late for that brother,” Felesar said, then a light beam from him struck the casing the evil sword was in. “This time we,” I nodded as Felesar turned to me then back. “We will ensure you stay where you are put.”

I raised a hand as a light beam again issued from Felesar. My own bean of Mage and Jinn energy also struck the evil sword. There was an ear-piercing scream, then the sword vanished.

I cringed ‘til the sword was gone, then I turned to face Felesar. I bowed to the sword as I heard a gasp from it. “Sir,” it said to me, “I am honored that you see me that way, but I am only a tool,” it started.

I held up a hand, stopping it before it finished. “You, my friend, are more than a tool, you are my friend and companion. I can not, nor will I think of you as less than those.”

Again I heard a great gasp as another gong sounded, and a light surrounded Felesar. For a moment I was sad as I thought I might be saying goodbye to Felesar.

The light grew incredibly bright then faded as a tall man, with dark hair and rippling muscles appeared. He looked down at himself with a look of ultimate shock and surprise.

“I can’t believe it,” he said, then turned to me. He knelt and presented a sword that mirrored the sword Felesar exactly. He knelt and presented the sword to me. “This sword is much like excaliber, only you can use it. It will not break nor will it fail. My Lord, I am proud to finally deliver this to you.”

I knelt with him as he placed the sword in my arms. My mouth was hanging open as the sword, then I started to glow. A voice came to my mind, to the warrior of three worlds, this had been crafted for you. Use it to right all those wrongs that have been perpetrated.

Again my mouth fell open, then Catherine closed with a finger. I could only stare at her as my sister, then my Jinns Catherine and Cythina knelt before me.

I could see that Jake and his Jinns had appeared and were kneeling to him. He walked to me,” Well,” he started, it appears that this is done.”

I shook my head as he had a concerned look on his face, There are a great many things that need to happen before this is done.” That’s when I felt the changes that were starting to happen.

Damnit, it felt it was starting to change about the same as when Catherine had been in Egypt. Then I also felt the presence of Hajib.

I stared at Jake as I then turned to my Jinns and my sister. I waved a hand and the three of us were gliding back through time.

It appeared that we landed just after we had moved forward in time. OK, I was going to be pissed as hell if I had to go through the same damn battles again.

I growled thinking about Hajib, I was most definitely going to gut that bastard as soon as I caught him again. My three companions had a worried look on their faces as I was growing angrier.

“It appears that, that bastard Hajib has started shit again. You remember that the Pharaoh’s daughter, and you appeared to look the same?” I told my sister as I turned to her. “Apparently he has taken her and blamed it on me, as do the mages.”

This, of course, caused my sister to grow angry also. “What the hell can we do? They are a hell of a lot stronger than you,” she said.

I smiled as I raised an arm and hand opposite of me, instantly freezing ten mages that had appeared. “Wanna bet,” I said as both my Jinns and my sister’s mouths dropped open.

“How?” My sister said as I touched her hand and both of us started to glow.

“We, or perhaps, I have grown ten times more powerful than I was,” I said, after two minutes, I let her hand go, the glow remaining for another minute. “Really now? There’s not a whole lot that can stop me or us.”

I looked at the both of them, and we were suddenly within the palace of the Pharaoh. I saw a lot of guards and mages move to stop us as I raised a finger and waggled it at them.

“Really, I wouldn’t if I was you, unless you want me to kill one of you to prove a point. Now I really don’t want to if I have to,” I said, though I was afraid that one was going to make a move on me.

I guess it was the second strongest that was there, who started to raise his hands with a quick chant. I just raised a hand, stopped it, then froze him.

“Do we really have to do this?” I said as another tried to throw fire and electricity at me. I sighed as I snapped my fingers, and he was an instant pile of ash.

All the mages and the guard’s mouths dropped open as the guards left the room. The lead mage glared at me as he crossed his arms.

“What in the hell do you want, abomination,” he started, then found that he could no longer talk or having a voice.

“Ah,” I said, “so much better when those locked into their unchanging ways of thinking are quiet. Now the princess is missing, as you can see, my sister very closely resembles her.”

All eyes turned toward her as they grew wide in astonishment. “Yeah, I know it was a major shock to me also,” she said.

“We know where she is and who took her, though not one of you will believe that it was an ally of yours. I am sure that you remember Hajib?” I said. All of the mage’s eyes grew wide as they all nodded, the leader still glaring at me.

I snapped my fingers as I showed what had taken place at my Aunt’s home. Hajib’s defeat and him losing the sword. I then let them see that he escaped through time to appear here. He grabbed the princess and left a piece of cloth that had been ripped from my shirt.

This time the leader’s glare at me grew even more intense as he struggled even more. I leaned close and whispered, “If I wanted you dead it would be so, after all, I’ve already killed you once.”

His eyes opened wide as I let my power from my Jinn and mage sides grow to almost full. His eyes again grew wide as he fell to his knees, shaking his head.

I unforze his mouth as I sat beside him, “What,” he started? “What can I do if you have power as great as this?”
