Chapter 29

We were both sweating heavily when I lost the block on his communication. He suddenly lunged at me as he screamed, “Rathma! Send all of them now!”

While he was screaming, I had taken both his legs and his other arm. I had almost removed his head when he actually fell from the sky, hitting the ground.

I cursed as I slowly followed him down to where he was. As I approached, he was again laughing manically. “You’re too late, without you, they will take all the human world in no time.”

I smiled as I opened a portal to the huge field behind my Aunt’s house. As we appeared, his smile seemed to fall as there were at least twenty Jinns and another twenty mages.

The main thing that shocked him was the guarding knight that was taking out the undead with ease. Hajib’s mouth dropped open as almost a million were down.

He then turned toward me with a new look of astonishment on his face. I cursed to myself as I saw that he was healing astonishingly quick.

I smirked as I told him, “You really thought it was going to be that easy? Especially after I saved the mage prince and they reunited? Please, you have far more enemies than you ever had.”

He suddenly smirked at me as what was left of the undead started to grow to over twenty feet high. “Now little abomination, let’s see if you can defeat that!”

He then snapped his fingers and his face grew worried as nothing happened. “What’s wrong, Jibby? Can’t seem to leave or do anything? Yeah, tends to happen when you’re spelled to have nothing.”

I flew at him swinging my fist at his face, which he managed to mostly duck away from. What did meet his face stunned the hell out of him as he again hit the ground.

He then shocked me as he started to laugh like a mad man. “You think you have defeated me, but I will not be defeated,” with that, he turned a ring on his finger and vanished.

“Ah damnit!” I yelled as I shot a beam at him, smiling as he screamed. I dropped back to the ground as the leader of the undead was kneeling before me.

“I accept what destruction and punishment you desire to flay me with,” he said. He then lowered his head as he awaited my decision.

I looked down on the undead leader as I thought it through. I knew that a lot of what he’d done was completely against his code.

I then looked at my sister and both the Jinns that were mine. Then my parents, my aunt and her Jinn each had a different look on their face.

“Why am I feeling that all of you want me to destroy him? From what I can see and feel, most of this wasn’t his want or doing,” I said.

My sister was the first to look at me like I had lost my mind. This was followed by almost the same look from the others.

“Master,” my Jinn started. “We will do as you say, but truly, this thing helped our enemy to try and kill you, us. I am not sure that I,” here she looked at Cythina. “That we can forgive what was done.”

I sighed as I nodded my head and all there were staring at me. “I know, I know, but I am feeling that Jibbly really didn’t give him a choice.”

I could see that this was going to take a bit to convince them. That and I was going to have to go after Jibbly to finish him off.

I mean, I had a bead on him, but that was a bead. I still had to find him before, I snapped my fingers as I suddenly knew exactly where he’d be.

I asked our parents the time and date, then a smile creeped onto my features. Yes, I thought, I knew exactly where, I just had to make sure I was ready and I only had a day.

I turned to all the mages and Jinns that were there as I discussed what I had planned. A great many of them listened as my idea brought true smiles to their faces.

I then brought out all of the protections and weapons that I had gathered. I knew that they were strong as they had gathered energy from me the total time they had been with me.

I looked at all that were there, as many were astonished that I had all that I did. “Do you actually know how to use all of them? Especially this?” Cythina said as she held up the strange ruby red ring that Queen Amylin had given me.

I half nodded as the ring I was pretty sure of, though it was the only thing I wasn’t completely sure of. I knew that no matter what he had, I had a lot of force for good.

We all set up for the next day, for what would be an extremely traumatic day for me. It took all that day into the night and most of the next day to get it all ready.

I had still been trying to scan for Hajib though I still wasn’t feeling him. I sighed as the hour, I knew what would happen, when and where.

I and the rest of them, I guess you’d call them a troupe, were there waiting. It was a full hour before it was supposed to happen. I was still afraid that it might fail.

Then it started to rain, thunder and lightening, to the point that there was zero visibility. I almost froze as I watched the semi-truck bare down on my parents and I, the car we were in. This was followed by the maniacal laugh of Hajib, plus his yell of victory.

After the crash, I felt several of the crystals and stones reach out to engulf Hajib. He started to scream as he wasn’t able to free himself.

The two shield crystals flared up as Hajib started to fire several titanic blasts toward me. Bouncing back, he yelled as the blasts struck him.

I felt the cave brothers’ crystals as they tried to enwrap Hajib but he managed to slip away. He was still struggling, though I felt that he wasn’t able to escape as easily.

I started to hit him with everything I had as I felt him finally fall. I rushed to the car as I saw that there was almost no life left in it.

I heard my dad speaking as I used my power to heal most of his injuries. Then I went to work on mom then the strangest thing happened; time stopped completely.

It was a spell I learned years? Days ago, I wasn’t sure anymore, then I saw dad and mom look around ‘til they saw me.

I gritted my teeth as they thanked me for allowing them to carry out the plan. They could also see that I was pissed as hell about the plan.

I nearly lost it when they went back, as dad left first, then mom. I unfortunately nearly lost it more, when they took my sister and mom touched my young form’s head.

I also saw that the one that took Catherine was a family friend. It was taking all that mom and dad could, to hold me back from completely killing the woman.

Both our parents stared into my eyes, telling me I was the only one that could end all of this once and for all. I thought that they were both as crazy as hell as I tried to break away again.

Then dad told me if Hajib escaped that no one, not even me, would be able to stop him. That seriously put a damper on my temper as I could only stare at them for a moment.

Then I thought that they were absolutely correct as I then left to search. It appeared that the coward had run as far as he could.

He had lost the black crystal that had been an opposite to the necklace of the sisters of the light. His black evil energy sword though, was a deterrent for a while. Then I found him in the mountains.

We battled for quite a while as he was still using every dirty trick to get away. Somehow, I managed to trick him by going as high as we could go, then set him to the earth as hard and fast as I could.

The resulting impact scared the hell out of several states as they thought a large bomb had gone off. I stood above him as the ruby ring of Queen Amylin started glowing.

I felt that I had to use this, but was still unsure of how to operate it. That hesitation nearly cost me an eye as he struck with his sword.

So, I was off again, chasing him around the world for a second day. Again, I caught him and was actually using the ring on him when he escaped again.

The third day, I had him trapped again, this time I managed to get the ring to start vacuuming him up. I was hit in the back by no less than twenty of the undead leader’s soldiers. Damnit, I had thought we had destroyed all of them.

As I was afraid, he again slipped away, though this time he was far weaker than he had been before. To say that I was beyond pissed when I turned and completely destroyed the undead was an understatement.

I had reached out, nearly hooking him as he fled, but I had used a bit of energy by them. I still had a block on escape through time portals, but I wasn’t sure that they would hold.

By the third day I was sure I could find him easily, I was wrong. I spent the rest of the third day looking and not finding.

The whole time I had been looking, I hadn’t known that all those that were helping me were also following. So it was fortunate that when Hajib managed to ambush me that they were very close by.

It was also fortunate that there were as many as there were. Their combined power actually managed to damage him enough for him to have to hide again.

I awoke the next day far more sore than I thought I would be. I was far more angry than I thought I would be also at the time.

I started to search as soon as I was out of bed, to no avail. I also found out that the undead we thought were destroyed were only delayed reappearring.
