Chapter 1
Dan Treatron shook his head. What in the world was happening? He took a step out of his back door, and he was suddenly in a huge forest. A forest of gigantic trees like he’d never seen.
A turn around showed him that he was no longer at his home. He still had his hand on the door knob, there was just no door!
Dan’s mouth dropped open, pulling his hand to his face, he could only stare at the knob in his hand. A moment later he heard his best friends, the twins.
“Dan? “Where are you dude?” came Ella’s voice.
“I swear I saw him step out the back door,” came Bell’s voice.
“Can you hear me?” Dan yelled, not really expecting them to answer.
“Yeah, where the hell are you?” Ella yelled.
“Not really sure, I stepped out the door, and I’m,” Dan paused. “Not really sure where I am.”
“I’m telling you I saw him go out the back door,” Bell said.
“Alright, alright,” Ella replied. A moment later a blond, tall, extremely beautiful, well-endowed female suddenly appeared. “Dan?” she said as she stared at him. “Is that you? Good god! You’re ripped as hell! What happened?”
Dan looked at his thin chest and arms, which were no longer as he remembered them. Holy shit he thought his arms were those of a life-long body builder. His washboard abs surprised him the most.
He then noticed that Ella’s body was losing all her fat as her chest and ass became perfectly shaped. Her hair had a shine that was unnatural, with her arms bulking up.
Less than a minute layer minute later her sister appeared an almost copy of what her sister had been. At least for a few minutes ‘til she also started to change as her sister had.
“What the hell!” Bell shouted. “I didn’t ask for a total makeover!”
Dan also noticed that a wave of water was washing out from her. Then an upset Ella had flames shooting out of her fingertips.
“Dan! What in the hell have you done to us!” shouted both females.
“What!? Why are you blaming this on me?” Dan nearly shouted in shock.
“You’re the one that’s into all that weird shit, witchcraft, occult, supernatural, you should know!” Bell said.
Dan could only stare at them, his mouth ajar. “I thought that both of you were witches. Both of you having the elements that you did.”
Both females’ eyes narrowed as they stared at Dan. “How the hell do you know that? “We’ll have to kill you now for that knowledge!” Ella said as she pointed a hand at Dan.
A huge torrent of flame shot out of her hand, enveloping Dan. Dan crossed his arms in fro0nt of himself as the flames covered him. A sudden wave of water covered him, then covered Ella.
Sputtering Ella was lying on the ground trying to catch her breath. “NOONE hurts my sister!” Bell screamed as she let loose another huge wave that threatened to drown Dan. A flame shot out from him that grew hotter and hotter ‘til all the wave dried up.
Bell blinked. What the hell?! Dan didn’t have power. Here he seemed to have not only hers but her sister’s also.
Bell ran to Ella, stumbling as she went. “Sister, are you alright? What did he do to you? I’ll kill him!” Bell said, her fruy growing.
This time, a titanic wave started to fall upon Dan. His mouth dropped open as he crossed his arms again. An even hotter and broader wave of flame shot out from him, closing in on the water user.
Dan saw that it was gaining on Bell far faster than he thought it would. “NO!” Dan screamed as he felt the flames start to die as they crept close to Bell. Bell screamed a moment as the flames died, and she was left there panting, slightly singed.
He looked at both females, swearing that he could feel a wave of hostility coming from both of them. With a sigh, Dan turned and started to walk away, not wanting to hurt his friends.
He was barely out of sight when he heard Ella yell for him. Dan shook his head as he kept going faster, deeper into the forest.
Ella had managed to get to her feet as she checked her sister. The amount of flame she’d seen should have incinerated her sister. If Dan was as evil as she thought he was, then both of them should be beyond dead.
She watched as Bell’s healing ability was making her skin beautiful again.
“I’m going to kill him!” Bell groaned as her eyes opened.
Ella shook her head, “That might be a terrible idea. His second use of the same elements we use, were almost twice as strong as ours. You really want to go up against that much power?”
“WHAT! No, they were not! I am far stronger than that, I,” Bell stopped and dropped her head as her sister shook her head no. Bell sighed, then nodded, “So what’s our next move?”
“Obviously, he is stronger than most mages if he is one. I’ve only met ten that could use two powers of the elements at the same time. One of those was a very old archmage. Several were very high mages. Though, I have never seen them have a doubling of their casting. As for what we need to do, we have to find him and apologize,” Ella said.
Bell was quiet for a few minutes, then sighed, nodding her head. “Alright, I can barely detect him though. There are also a great many elemental magic users here.”
For a moment, Ella had a look of concern on her face as she touched her sister. Her face relaxed as she shook her head.
“They haven’t the power to beat us, at least I don’t think so,” Ella said.
They both headed out in the same direction that Dan had. Ella shook her head. There was hardly a trail, since when did Dan have woodsman skills?
A great distance ahead, Dan was moving at a great clip. He looked at all the trees he didn’t know, as well as the birds. Well, he thought they were birds.
He didn’t want to, inadvertently, kill anything or one if he could help it. He was still moving forward rapidly when he heard a scream.
He crept forward, looking through the tall bushes. In shock, he saw a lovely, tall female with light skin and pointy ears.
The female had a wicked-looking sword that she was swinging at ten green-skinned beings. What the hell Dan thought Goblins? He shook his head as he watched as the female managed to slice one of them.
At her feet was a male that looked a lot like her. He didn’t look too good with slashes across his chest and arms. The amount of blood he was losing wasn’t looking good either.
Then the strangest thing happened. The grunts and squeals started to make sense. “You will make a great taste in the stew pots. “Your death will help his family to enjoy your death!” the leader of the Goblins snarled.
Dan’s anger started to grow to an almost furious level. Pointing a finger at the leader and the one next to it, great flames flew out of it. The two he’d pointed at were suddenly on fire, then dead.
The other seven jumped back as two more were suddenly on fire, then as fast dead. The last five started to scream about magic users as they halled ass as fast as they could.
The female sighed as she looked at the bushes where Dan was. “I thank you great mage, please,” she started, then stopped short. “But you are a human! I haven’t seen one of you in over five hundred years. How is this possible?”
Dan smirked at her as he walked out. “How is he?” Dan asked, shocking the female even more.
“You ... you speak the sacred language of my people. No human has ever spoken it. You more than honor the people of the forest,” the female bowed to Dan.
Dan blushed as he tried to bow to the female as she walked to where the male was. A gasp arose from her as she stared at Dan.
She looked at the male as a few tears fell from her eyes. “Elven tried to protect me. I am afraid that my brother hadn’t enough skills. Nor am I afraid that he ever will,” this last, almost a quiet whisper.
Dan felt a great sadness move through him as he touched the badly injured male. At that moment, his hands started to glow as he reached down, touching the worst cuts. Almost immediately, the cuts closed as the bleeding stopped.
Again, the female’s mouth dropped open as all the cuts were sealed up, all the bleeding stopped. Dan then reached in feeling where the cuts above had harmed many strange feeling organs. As soon as he felt them whole again, he nodded to the female.
The female could only stare at Dan, her mouth still hanging open. Dan turned toward her, chuckled a moment, then reached out and closed her mouth.
“I hope I did enough to aid him. He had a great many cuts within,” Dan said.
“I ... I am sure you have helped him, though he is the healer, not me,” the female said, still in shock.
Dan nodded, then noticed that the male was breathing a great deal easier. “Do you require help getting him home?” Dan asked, then had to touch the female to get her attention.
“Yes please. I find that my strength is greatly depleted,” she said as she looked at the prone male with loving eyes.
Lifting the male, they traveled through the forest for over an hour before they came to an area with all the buildings in huge, great trees. An almost scared shout sounded as soon as Dan came within sight.
“To arms we are under attack!” The shouts sounded, then a huge number of warriors appeared with knives, swords and magic.
Dan looked at the female, backing away. “This way they will not harm you as they come after me,” Dan said a sad look on his face.
At first, they attacked in mass, though this was fruitless against Dan’s shield. Then they all stood aside as an older white-skinned, pointy-eared, much older male stepped forward.
“You are far more powerful than you appear. You also appear human, something that is impossible,” the male said in broken English.
“I am, as you can see,” Dan said in the older male’s language. “Though I did not expect the reception that I did. Since I am not welcomed, I will leave. Though I hope that all I did for Elven was enough to help him. I am not a good healer yet, also he was attacked by goblins a few hours from here.”
With that said, Dan turned back the way he’d come and started to walk away. “Wait!” a familiar female voice shouted, stopping him cold. Turning, he saw Elven’s sister running towards him.
“I wish to thank you, please stay with our family,” she said. “My name is Tygan, please stay.”
Dan looked into her eyes, seeing the sincere gratitude there. “I would if I could, though, as with most of my short life? I do not stay where I am not welcome.” Dan turned to the Elder, “Those that wished me ill, shall feel the pain that I did. I was rebuked by almost everyone here, for no reason than I am different enjoy the pain that you gave me.”
With that, Dan turned as there was a great crying out of pain from almost all the small town. “What is your name?” Tygan asked.
