Dan looked at her and nodded. Then he turned to Danea. “It appears that I also gained Plant Guard.”
Danea nodded her head, “A powerful spell that causes plants, usually trees, to help fight and guard. I have seen many with that spell use them.
All the females turned to Dan as he cleared his throat. “This attack was because of the elf king.” Dan hung his head, “I lost control, I appeared in the palace and beat the king into submission. I also broke his arms and legs in at least twenty places. I kicked his head a few times and tried to break his ribs.”
“Did he try to stop you,” Kim’ta said, her mouth hanging open, a slow smile creeping on her lips.
“I’m not sure, when I saw that Danea and Shae’ten were hurt, I lost my temper. I felt a rage that I had never felt before. I told him that if they died I would return and finish him,” Dan said.
“Why am I feeling there is more?” Tygan asked, her mouth hanging open.
“I ... I killed the royal guard, a few hundred soldiers. I then searched out all the elf nobles that were aiding him and I ended them also,” Dan said, his head still hung low.
All the females were gasping in horror. Dan, had killed that many elfs? Plus what he’d done to the king. All of them turned to Kim’ta, who was doing her best to not giggle.
She looked at the others and shrugged her shoulders. “After what they and he did to my family, I really have no love for the gentry or royalty.
Dan nodded as he had to agree with her. With most of her family scattered, imprisoned or murdered, he couldn’t blame her.
“Oh, not many of you know her story. It seems that the king in order to use her power. Has taken almost all of her family, a great many are in the Elvin prisons,” Dan said, the tenseness in his voice.
A now somber Kim’ta agreed as she said, “When you fought the king’s troops at the Elvin city, my niece was there. Dan actually saved her two times. I found out later that they killed her mother. They still haven’t found her father yet, though I hope.”
This time, all of the female’s mouths dropped open. “That little girl that Dan saved, she was your niece?” Ent’tra said. “I knew that she was very important when Dan had me hide the survivors, but I didn’t know she was your niece.”
Kim’ta turned to stare at En’tra, “You saved her and the others?” Kim’ta ran to En’tra and threw her arms around her in a huge hug. “Thank you,” she whispered in En’tra’s ear, shocking the dark elf.
Dan hung his head, “I wish I could have done more. So many died I should have been able to save them. I have to get stronger and make sure that cowardly ass doesn’t hurt anymore.”
“I agree that you need to get stronger, though don’t do it for revenge,” Gre’ta said.
Dan stared at her, realizing just what she meant. “I will attempt to, though, at the moment, all I can hear and see is all that died around me. I can’t allow that to happen again. I mean I killed almost twenty-five thousand troops, not to mention all those in the palace,” a slightly shaken Dan said.
“You are not a killer, this is war and things like this happen. As we all know, they have no regrets about killing you. You should not have any remorse about their deaths,” Tygan said, shocking Dan.
“You feel like that even when you are a life aspect?” An even more shocked Dan said.
Tygan sighed, “Dan, as I said, this is war, they will not allow you to live. Those with you are also targeted, in order to stop this, many are going to die. I intend to live and go back to help my people.” She then turned toward Danea. “I am so sorry that your village are as ignorant as they are.”
Danea smiled as she nodded, “I am glad that Dan helped me to realize that they were only using me. It is unfortunate that they are now dead no me now, as is the clan.”
“Your mother will survive, Danea. I just hope that she got away from them,” Dan said rather sadly.
Danea’s face suddenly lit up, “Dan? Could we go to my grandmother’s village? It’s a short distance from that one, I’m sure that mother would go there if she left.”
A smile came to his features as he nodded, then had Danea think of her Grandmother’s village. She nodded, then Dan touched her, then they all linked arms as the shadows wrapped around them, them vanishing.
A few moments later, they appeared in a village that closely mirrored Danea’s village. A good many were shouting at the ten beings that appeared in the middle of the village square.
They quickly grew quiet when two older females called for quiet. Danea shouted when she saw her mother running towards her, embracing her with tears.
An even older female started to walk toward Dan, then stopped as her mouth fell open. “By all that is holy! Child,” she said, turning back to Danea’s mother. “He has seven aspects! Never have I felt this much power.”
The older female started to kneel when Dan stopped her. “Please don’t kneel, I am just a man, not a god. I do not want you injuring yourself kneeling.”
The older female smiled as she still bowed to Dan, drawing a groan from him. This, of course, caused the older female to giggle, surprising Dan.
“Sir, it has been prophesied that a human man of great power would appear and heal the world. That he would right the great many injustices that have been wrecked upon everything and one. I did not think I would live to see the savior of us,” the older female said.
Dan was surprised when she grabbed him in a hug that was far stronger than he thought it would be. That’s when he noticed the tears of relief on her face.
“I was asked by your granddaughter to come here, to heal you. I am afraid that her old village wants nothing to do with me or the cure,” Dan said sadly.
The older female nodded, “Her father has always been a stubborn fool. I am afraid that that village is lost to us, most unfortunate. Luckily, there are three couples here from there that weren’t as stupid as the rest.”
Dan’s eyes went large in surprise, “I should start on them after I finish healing you.”
The older female stared at Dan in surprise as she watched the glow fade from her body. “My, my sneaky, aren’t you?” she laughed.
The older woman went to organize the rest of the village, as Danea’s mother introduced Dan to the three couples. It took him almost thirty minutes to finish, then congratulated the last couple.
They stared at Dan, wondering what he was talking about. “It appears that as soon as I healed you, that the last time you had sex,” here the two blushed red. “It wasn’t going to take though now with you healthy? You are now with a child, though it is very, very early.”
Both of them stared at Dan, then each other, then they tackled him in joy. When they released him, he had to explain to the nine females with him what he’d discovered.
This, in turn, caused all of the females with him to congratulate the couple. This included a great many hugs and kisses.
Dan was smiling greatly ‘til he turned and saw just how many there were to heal in the village. Dan just nodded then shrugged as he made his way to all that needed him.
It took him a little over four hours to finally heal all that were there. Dan sat finally finished, not as tired as he usually was.
Dan was asleep within a few minutes after kissing all the females. He then had a dream that shocked him for a moment, it was of his mother and sister. He hadn’t seen them for quite some time.
“Dan,” his mother smiled at him, then her countanace grew serious. “Dan, you are in danger, you need to grow further. You only have seven, you need all of them. We are sorry that this has fallen upon you. Collect them and correct what he has done. Remember family does not excuse pain and suffering.”
This caught Dan by surprise: “Family, Mom? What are you talking about? You and Sis are the only family I have.”
“No, there are others, though I am afraid that when you find out,” here his mother’s voice faded. “They will,” then silence. “Do you understand? His mother’s voice said.
“You cut out mom, what were you saying?” Dan said.
“You have family there, they are,” then her voice was gone.
Dan awoke in a deep sweat as they had said something exceedingly important. He then started to trace what had interfered. He found it in the form of a mage in the palace.
All nine females backed away as Dan’s anger rose, then became intense rage.
In the king’s palace he watched, barely healed, as his head mage had reported what he’d seen. That was before he screamed and was crushed to a bloody ball of flesh.
That’s when ten more mages tried to stop Dan. He made a slicing motion as all but one was sliced in two. The last screamed even louder, then his head exploded.
The king was immediately grabbed by Dan and thrown against the wall. The sickening sound of breaking bones could be heard with the impact.
Dan got in the king’s face, snarling at him. “I grow a lot stronger, and I allow you to live in pain. Keep it up, and I will no longer show you mercy.”
This time Dan cut both of the king’s legs off. “You will pay for this,” the king screamed.
“I already am, I am stuck in this pathetic, mud ball. Having to deal with petty dictators like you. Just to let you know? I already have all the dragon clans, all the mer-people and a great deal of the harpies. I have a lot more power than you think, and I am not afraid to use it. Keep on, I will end this slime ball of a planet with no problem!” Dan said as he rebroke the king’s arms as he passed out, then Dan vanished.
An older male’s head peaked around the corner, shaking his head. He could have warned the king though, the elf wouldn’t have listened.
With a deep sigh, he’d barely had much sleep as the king had started self-healing. He shook his head as he started to reattach the legs. He was surprised that his healing power had grown.
Taking a breath, he saw that he was barely keeping up with the human. He also saw that the extent of the king’s injuries were going to take far longer than he wanted to admit.
Dan snapped to his body with an audible gasp, then fell over on his side. His breathing was rapid as he tried to calm afraid he’d hurt the females.
