Dan pointed at the leader as the man was obviously still trying to break free of the elf king’s influence. Dan smiled, then his face got a serious look as he heard the elf king scream then several snaps.
“Enjoy the present I sent you, just like the rest you received. Remember that I have hurt you more than even got close to me,” Dan said as he cut the tether.
Dan shook his head as he and the females stared at the troops that were left. Ampliphing his voice, Dan shouted, “If the rest of wish to live, I suggest that you leave NOW!”
There were a few moments of confusion, then almost all of the remaining troops started to run. Dan smiled, as there were hardly any left that were facing them.
The rest that were left looked at each other a few more moments, then turned and fled. Dan released the breath that he’d been holding as he relaxed.
He wasn’t above killing, though those that didn’t deserve it, needed a chance. He watched as the last of the opposing troops left.
They traveled on the rest of the day, reaching further north than they ever had. Not that far behind them, Helena the Succubus was starting to panic, she couldn’t seem to get the male alone.
What she had to tell him was vital to the whole business that was occurring now. She also knew that she had to tell him alone as the news would cause those with him to abandon him.
From everything that she had seen, he had to arrive at the end with all twelve. Though at the moment she had only seen eleven, she was sure that he’d meet the last soon.
She was very worried that she had messed up the chance to meet the last. Nearly shaking, she wished that she was important like the others with him.
A sigh escaped her lips as she wished that she was important, she was just a nothing succubus. She had never amounted to anything, and she was afraid that she never would.
Helena pressed on as this was the first, and she was afraid her last mission that she’d ever be sent on. Was her mentor, the greater Succubus, really sure that this information would aid the human?
She shrugged as she saw that she finally had a chance to talk to him. It appeared that the male was going alone to a wooded area, though what was he doing opening his pants?
It wasn’t until she came upon him and a stream of liquid was escaping the front of his pants that she gasped. Was the human male actually urinating? What was that?!!!
Dan whirled at the sound of the gasp, his penis hanging out and forgotten as he drew his sword. Helena was scared speechless as she stared at what was hanging out his pants, then the tip of his sword.
“You are the hardest,” here she gulped at Dan’s sex, “and the sexiest, uh ... the most important,” Helena said.
Dan crossed his arms, still forgetting he was hanging out the front of his pants. “Yeah right, I am just a human that seems to have power now. Plus, I don’t feel welcome in either world that I am obviously from.”
Helena’s eyes grew huge, he felt like she did? “You, you feel like you are nothing, not important, not wanted?”
Dan started to nod, then noticed a slight breeze lower, looking he spun and zipped up. “I apologize,” Dan said, “I forgot I was indecent.”
His face was a lovely shade of red to the succubus as he blushed. “I,” here, she hesitated, “I didn’t find it indecent it was actually a compliment.”
Dan could only shake his head as he didn’t see how it could be a compliment. “Wait, you have never seen a male naked?”
Helena could only stare at Dan slightly confused, “Naked, What is that?”
Dan could only shake his head as he stared at the young Succubus. “It means without,” he shook his head, “Never mind.”
Helena suddenly shook her head as she finally remembered why she was here. “I am here to relay information that the greater Succubus said that you need to know. The most important thing is that you are related to the Elf king,” here, she sighed. “He is your brother, and you can not kill him unless you have no choice.”
OK, Dan thought, he already knew a tiny bit of this, but in no way did he expect that. He then thought about it more and fell to his knees and evacuated his stomach.
“That damn piece of shit is my brother! I should kill him just on principle! After all that, that bastard has done, he deserves no less than death,” Dan said.
“There’s more,” Helena started as Dan looked at her like she was crazy. “More! As if that piece of news wasn’t enough!”
“Uh yes,” a hesitant Helena said. “There are rumors that both of your fathers are still alive. As is your mother, and.”
“Yes, I know our mother and sister are still alive. I just spoke to them less than an hour ago,” a frustrated Dan said.
He shook his head as he felt that all of this was a dream, and he’d wake up at any moment. He was just a damn gamer, he wasn’t a hero or a mage or whatever the hell he was.
Helena was starting to feel like a harbinger of doom or something. She suddenly broke down as she also fell to her knees as tears started to fall.
“I knew that she chose the wrong one for this mission. It’s like you said, I am nothing and am completely worthless, at least you have a destiny and future, ME? There is nothing waiting for me when I return,” Helena’s head fell forward as her grief deepened.
Dan sighed as he felt like the biggest loser in the world. At least he felt that someone had truly believed in her and gave her a chance.
It wasn’t like him, and he had fallen into all of this. How had he survived this long? He was so unsure, but he hoped that who was at the end the compulsion would explain.
Then he thought about it and he wasn’t sure if he wouldn’t kill them also. They had screwed up his head quite a bit and had truly pissed him off greatly.
He finally stood as he looked at the young succubus and nodded. “Look, damn, I don’t even know your name,” Dan said.
“It’s Helena and I know that all those with you are truly important, so,” Helena was saying, then stopped when Dan held up a hand.
“All of the females that are with me had issues when they joined me. As it appears that you also have issues, then I think that you’ll fit in rather nicely with us,” Dan said with a smile.
Dan helped her to stand and led her to the others. “Oh, you can’t tell the others, they will leave you, and they can’t,” Helena spoke up suddenly.
Dan stared at her for a moment then thought it over. He suddenly started to nod his head as he figured it was normal for this place.
Eleven pairs of eyes were staring at him when Marlena opened her mouth and emitted sonic scream. Dan shoved Helena out of the way as the sound waves washed over him, knocking him off his feet.
Marlena’s eyes got larger as she sprinted to Dan, tears falling as she thought she had hurt Dan. “Oh god! I’m so sorry Dan. I thought that she had taken you prisoner and was going to kill you.”
Dan groaned and turned over looking at Marlena. “Damn, that packs a major punch, doesn’t it.” Dan was about to say more when a message came up:{you have gained sound aspect.}
Marlena was kissing him as he was shocked that she thought she had killed him. He was about to speak again as the message appeared: {you have gained the spells, Loud yell, Sonic wave and Sonic scream}
“Hmm,” Dan said, “three sound spells not bad.”
Marlena sat back from Dan, her mouth open, “You, you have my power?” She then threw herself at Dan again, tears of joy on her face.
The look of shock on Dan’s face was almost comical. “What’s going on?” he asked.
Marlena eased back a moment and whispered in his ear. “I am finally a part of you.”
Dan drew back even more as he stared at her. “A part of me? What in the hell are you talking about?” Dan asked.
“You have the powers of almost all of us, so we are a part of you as you are of us,” Marlena said.
Dan nodded as he thought about this, then he turned serious. “Still, why did you attack Helena?”
Almost matter-of-factly, Marlena said, “She’s a succubus, they are naturally evil. They enjoy killing males.”
Dan rolled his eyes as he stared at Marlena, “You were with us when we saved the succubi village. You saw that they weren’t evil.”
Marlena was staring at the ground as she almost whispered, “It was the way we were taught.” She looked at Helena as she softly said, “I’m sorry it was how we were taught that all your kind are nothing but evil.”
Helena smiled as she nodded, “We were taught almost the same thing about the mer-folk. How they ate my kind and drowned then as soon as they saw us.”
Marlena’s mouth was gaped open as she took this in. “Who in the hell started these rumors? It’s a wonder we haven’t killed each other.”
“I think that we are lucky that our two people don’t see each other very often,” Helena said.
Marlena was nodding, then stopped a moment, seeming to listen to the air, then nodding again. “Father says that this information is a great relief to him and our people.”
Helena was nodding, then she stopped suddenly like Marlena had. She started to nod, agreeing to what only she could hear.
Her eyes cleared after a moment, then she looked at Dan and Marlena. “My mentor, the greater succubus, said almost the same thing. This was started a great many years ago from rumors, basically from here say.”
Dan’s eyes narrowed as he thought about it. It seemed that it was a great way to drive aggression between the races. He could feel and see the hand of the elf king in this.
It was when he turned toward the others that he grimaced. He saw that all the other ten females were bowing to him, worse when he looked at Marlena and Helena.
