Chapter 10
I just shook my head as he started to fire a pistol, then a rifle. The look of shock and horror on his face was priceless.
“You are the first who has seen who I am, though for now, you are the only one. I’m sure you have noticed the shimmering air around us, go ahead, touch it,” I said with a wry smile.
When his hand stopped short at what was around us, the horror turned to terror. Then the idiot smirked at me, “You won’t hurt me, you’re too good to,” That’s when he started to scream
I slightly grimaced as blood started to flow from his eyes, his ears and mouth. “What you see before you is a person who was treated as if she was nothing, perhaps less. They attempted to kill me, blinding me in the process. Then I had your organization try to control me, almost as bad. Had they left me alone now? I would have you, now, I am declaring WAR!”
“You can’t, I am just following orders,” the now sobbing man said.
I paused a moment, then I nodded, “Good, then you’ll understand what is about to happen. The loss of troops in a war zone,” Here I got in his face waving around us, “this whole world is a war zone.”
I backed up as I pointed at him, his screaming even louder, the bleeding increased, then his head exploded. I nodded as I vanished the first true casualty of this war laying there as a lump.
Across the country, in the tall man’s bunker, they advised him all ultras were dead. He made a call, “activate all the Ultimates.” A grimace on his face.
A loud shouting could be heard from the phone he held.
“Yes, I’m sure, I have all of their bio-signatures monitored. The last one just died, all I know is the wild user made his head explode. There’s nothing left to recover,” the tall man said.
He hung up as he shook his head, he’d tried to warm them. The loss of three of the council, and their controlled asset being lost. The death of three of his replacements, all the ultras dead. Plus the loss of the daughter of that controlled asset.
They were in a world of shit, he knew that his life was as good as forfeit. The simple fact that none of this had made it to the public amazed him.
When all this came out, a lot of people were going under the ax. It’s too bad he wouldn’t live long enough to see that happen.
Well, he thought, he might survive. It was going to take all that he knew and a lot of favors.
I was amazed that I was still alive. That ass-hat had high-powered weapons that I didn’t think I had a chance to stop.
When I appeared in the backyard, I was stripping off clothes looking for bullet holes. I breathed a sigh as I felt no blood or scars.
I released the breath I was holding as I walked into the house. I heard a gasp as I turned toward it and dad was there staring at me.
I smirked as I said, “You like what you see, dad? It’s all fresh and natural. “I’m sure we could think of something to do.”
Dad made a little bit of a gagging sound as he ran up the stairs. A moment later, I heard his voice, “Why in the hell are you naked?”
“I met up with the last of the extra-enhanced killers. I let him see me,” I started.
“What!? I thought we talked about this. We’re going to have to go now,” dad’s worried voice said.
“No dad, we don’t, I took care of it. I was actually insulted when he smirked at me. Saying that now he saw me, the rest would also, I told him no, then I declared war,” I said.
“How is what he saw not in their hands now?” Dad asked.
“After I told him that I declared war, I blew up his head.” Dad could only stare at me. I held up a finger and put a finger to my lips. I reached the tall man, slapping him to the floor to gain his undivided attention. “I am putting this whole agency on notice. I wasn’t going to, but after you sent a hundred psychos after me, I am declaring war on all of you. If I meet you, you die simple that means psychically are physically.”
Dad was still staring at me when I cut the communication. “Do you know who that was?” Dad asked.
“Dad, I don’t care, nor do I want to. I have injured him time and again, and he still doesn’t get it. If they’d had left me alone I would have just faded away. No, they want to cage and use me. Well, I am through playing people in that organization will die. I’ll make sure of it,” I snarled.
I saw dad pull back as he was shocked at my venom. Then he nodded his head as he hung his head. “I am so sorry, Ginny, I should have done more to protect you. I feel that so much of this is my fault.”
I appeared next to him as tears were falling from his eyes. I wrapped my arms around him, suddenly aroused from his scent. I believe mine was affecting him as well as I felt him harden in his pants.
I then laid on the bed with him as I started to passionately kiss him.
Back in the bunker, the tall man was nursing his sore head where I had hit him. He was reaching for the shaking slightly.
A moment later, the line clicked as he told the person there that they had a huge problem. The next voice asked him what had happened.
The tall man sighed, then said, “The wild user has officially declared war on this department. I myself have been badly injured a few times, almost to the point of death. We activated the Ultras, they defeated all of them, actually killing the last. No sir, I acted by all the guidelines the council sent down, three of whom are out of commission,” said the tall man.
“What is the next play,” the voice said.
Oh boy, the tall man thought here goes everything to shit. “I have ordered the Ultimates to be activated. They have orders not to approach each other, but you know how well they listen.”
There was a deep sigh on the other side of the line. “You do realize that they could destroy the world. Are they that strong?”
“They are sir, they took the Ultras in less than a day. These were trained, veteran soldiers many times enhanced,” the tall man said.
“So do you believe this bullshit that had we not gone after them, they would have left us alone?” the voice asked.
The tall man sighed, “At this point I can easily believe them. As they said, they didn’t start anything ‘til, and I quote, we sent mad dog killers after them.”
“Unfortunately, that’s the only ones that we can get that are loyal. God help us if they defeat all of the Ultimates,” the voice said, then disconnected.
The tall man wasn’t that sure that the Ultimates could defeat the wild user. It seemed that they had one through the Ultras quite easily.
A great distance away, I awoke next to my father feeling his warm body next to me. Ummm I thought he felt far better than I thought he would, especially his morning hard on.
I tugged at it as I awoke further. We had spent a few hours together, the sex relaxing me greatly. Now I was hoping that dad didn’t freak out again, finding me here with him.
I smiled when dad awoke with a very large smile on his face. I believe it was the happiest and most relaxed that I had seen him in a very long time.
As he turned toward me, I saw that his smile didn’t disappear. Only for a moment I saw confusion, then it vanished as fast.
“Ginny, I had thought it was a dream. I’m glad even if we shouldn’t, I’m glad. I love you and as it is? It appears that you are the only one that loves me,” dad said with a sad look on his face. “We need to talk about that man.”
“Who the tall man? That’s what I have been calling him,” I said.
“Yes that one, you don’t realize just who he is,” dad said.
“I know enough he tried to capture me with twenty teams. One had a woman that was almost like me, she and her daughter are now free and healed,” I told him.
“Damnit! I was afraid that, that ass would try to do something like this. You said that there was a council? What six on that also trying to get to you?” Dad asked.
“Well three now, three of them are injured. I also disabled the hundred hunters they sent after me,” I told him.
Dad stood there and thought for a moment. “If I know the government as I do, they will send their best and strongest this time,” he said.
“You don’t think I am strong enough, do you dad,” I said, then watched him shake his head no.
“Maybe for the first one or two, but not the rest, I am afraid. We need to get you stronger, is there anything that works the fastest for you?” he asked.
I thought for a few minutes, then nodded. “It seems that the more I move, the stronger I get. I can cross the U.S. completely now. Though, it wears me out faster than I like,” I said. “I sleep for quite a while, and I haven’t been detected when I am out.”
“What about if you take a passenger with you?” dad asked.
“I believe that draws a hell of a lot more power and I can’t go as far,” I told him.
He had his head bent in thought, then he nodded. “How far can you take me if I ride with you?”
“Not really sure, I haven’t done anyone with me yet,” I said.
“I want you to try and see just how far you can go,” he said. I nodded as he put his arms around me, dear god, that felt good.
I concentrated for a moment, then we both vanished. When we appeared we were hundreds of miles away, a fact that shocked me.
Dad looked around and nodded his head, “Almost three hundred miles not bad. I guess the extra weight used more energy, especially with more than twice the weight. Let’s go back and do this a few times.”
I smiled as I was glad to, anything to get dad to touch me. We did it four more times before I stumbled after the last. Dad got me to his bed as I felt more drained than I had than I had.
He started to kiss me on the cheek, but I grabbed him into a full lip lock. It surprised the hell out of both of us.
