Preface

Greeting, to all readers, listeners, rememberers, and understanders.

I am Desfelvar Ultum, “The one who remembers infinity”. And to you, I’ll be your guide. These stories, though all connected in one way or another, are so widely different that you can’t understand them without a guide. I won’t let that stop you though, feel free to skip to each story, and see if you can understand them. For those willing to have a helping hand, these fundamental tools I’ll give you will help you greatly in understanding our collective world.

These collections of stories tell the tale of the group of bio-technological species known as “humanity.” As well as their rise and fall. These stories are not in order of time, but rather in order of suspense. Though you may not believe it, some of the answers humanity looked for were written early in their history. You may be human, reading this now, I do not claim humanity is or will ever truly die out, even if homosapiens, hinosapins, or any other sub species dies out.

In Vestisian, the word of humanity is ‘Ͳ̈́Θ” which means “the collective chaos.” There are millions of terms from many who have encountered or simply heard of humanity. Even if the wording of sentences are quite odd, I’ll make sure everything is properly translated into your language of choice, and annotated with the original language it is meant to be in.

Before I get into the first tale, I should give a light explanation of what led humanity down this path. Humanity originated in the Yuttpolrestrian universe, 9.7 billion years after the great creation, on the 3rd planet from a yellow star. Like many other forms of life, humanity was not created. One cell randomly made itself, passed the great barriers, and life on Earth was seeded.
