Well that was the end of that. The police of Blisterbahl Green had egg in their faces as I marched their presumed dead post master and Shiss collaborator right through the front doors of the police head quarters while Avatars of Union Post investigators were present.
I took particular delight in the Pertharian’s and Leeza’s embarrassment, but accepted the apologies and the explanation of the intelligence officer.
Apparently the Shiss device held vital intelligence for the Shiss empire.
It had to do with the abduction of that Gray Nul, and some startling developments in Nul Union cooperation.
I for one decided to find me a runner contract of someone trying to loose him or herself in one of the core worlds. The more crowded the more difficult the better.
Remember what I said about runners that seek the fringes? Forget it. The easy ones aren’t always what they seem.
