Chapter 11 of Cutting a Swath will be posted Wednesday. Chapter 12 will follow on in the normal weekend posting slot. So, the first week of March is a bonus week!
Some of my readers have expressed an interest.
I've spent the day finalizing and I have put together an ARC version of book three and will be listing it on Bookapy tomorrow.
If you are desperate to get the next installment, there you go. I plan on doing a final proof and polish pass and then relisting it in a few weeks. The price then will probably be a few $ less so if you are frugal, wait. I still plan on posting it by chapter but that will be towards the end of April after book two is done posting.
I happened to notice that the chapter released today for my second book is about the middle of the story (size or words wise) if you group all three books. If you are enjoying John's tale so far then you have about as much remaining as you have already read.
What does that mean? Nothing really. The good news is I wrapped up writing on book three a month ago and its now in the final stages of proof reading and corrections. That means that book three will be available on schedule in early March. That also means the story is complete and the ending is set so you don't have to worry about it being incomplete or going inactive.
I've read back over the overall story a few times but for the past few months my focus has been on book three. I thought it turned out pretty well when I turned it over to the proofers. The responses I have gotten back have been really good and I am excited to release it.
Thanks for following my story. Thanks for the comments, criticisms and praise. Thanks for your support on Bookapy.
A blizzard hit yesterday. Now I sit here watching out the window at all the snow with limited outdoor activities. In solidarity to those readers facing the same or similar I am posting a bonus chapter this weekend. Chapters 6 and 7 will be released tonight and tomorrow night. Enjoy.
Happy New Years!
Book two Cutting a Swath of my Make the Cut series had started posting. Your comments, votes and gripes are welcome!
It's a swashbuckling adventure! (there, I can now take off swashbuckling from my bucket list of words to use. edit... I just looked up swashbuckling and 'romantic' is in the definition. My story lacks heavy romance so give me a break with the word.)
In other news. Last night I wrapped up the first draft of Book three Final Cut. It will round out John's story and decide humanities future. The book is larger than the first two and should be available towards the end of March.
