I plan on starting to post Book Four next week, as I've previously said. No, it's not complete (on Chapter 18) yet, and as soon as it is, it'll go on Bookapy.
Chapter 15 is halfway written, with the first 13 completely through the editing process. You may or may not know I work full time - I'm a Realtor (tm) - but I think everyone knows what the housing market this past year has been like. So I'm not as far ahead as I want to be, but I'm still further ahead in my writing than I need to be to start posting on Thanksgiving. Posts here will be on the same day as on SOL.
Just an update that so far - and hoping that I don't curse myself by saying this - I seem to be on pace to have enough chapters done by Thanksgiving that I'll be able to start posting. I won't begin posting until I have enough of a buffer done.
Yes, that means I do start posting before the book is complete, but that's just how I do things.
This brings Book Three to a close. Book Four should start posting around Thanksgiving - at least, that's my goal. I have eight chapters complete, working on number nine. As a full-time realtor, I'm an independent contractor, so I work my own hours. But that also means when I'm working with a client, I'm liable to spend an entire day showing properties. I also will NOT start posting until I have at LEAST a 15 chapter buffer built up, because Book Four is harder to write due to the sheer number of internal and external references I have to continually check, for plot consistency.
If you're wondering why Sunday and not Saturday ... stories post at approximately 8 AM EST. On the twentieth anniversary of 9/11/01, that seemed to me to be rather disrespectful.
