Chapter 8: The First Battle and the Discovery

Commander Paula attacks the Skrulls camp near south of the Dark Tower with 10,000 men behind her. The skrulls reluctant with their small aircrafts attack the men with laser guns. At the top of these gigantic armies collisions lies the island ship of Charlie with Ajax and Charlie at the cockpit as they are beyond reach of the skrulls. The Xarta troops arrive with small aircrafts with 15000 strong soldiers and start bombarding beams towards the skrull camps.

The Skrulls champion is a 8 foot axe wielding monster. He screams at his men to start fire at the pod where Darr, Paul and John are. Some soldiers open fire at the pod. Darr with anger open fires beams from the pod killing atleast half a dozen of skrulls infantry. “Well what say Bullseye we go there. I think Darr will handle the pod”Says Paul. Both of them climb the horse as the back of the pod opens.

Baruto with his huge gun kills almost 20 of the Skrulls at just his first round. The skrulls forward to see a 7 foot giant in front of them. Their champion comes at their rescue as a huge fight enrolls between two gigantic beasts. Some skrull soldiers try to attack Baruto from behind but Gawdd shoots them as Baruto draws his war hammer which is atleast 8 feet long and begins to strike at the skrulls champion. The champion taller by a foot draws his mace and blocks Barutos blow. All the soldiers fighting are amazed when they see a flying horse at the top. Ajax and Charlie are ecstatic at what they see at front of them. Paul at the back fires bullets into the camp while John lifts his bow and then pulls the string as he aims he could see the skrulls clearly. As he further stretches the string he could see the eye of one of the skrull. He releases the string just to see the arrow pierce the skrulls eye. As the horse flies above the army out of the reach of the beams from the guns of the Skrull Army John again pulls the string as he touches the string from the top of the bow to the bottom he sees 4 more arrows within the bow forming an arc as he releases the five arrows at the camp. Many skrulls are killed as John repeats firing arrows into skrulls heads.

However the battle is still on as the two champions from each side are yet to finish. Tired as none of them could kill each other they begin to attack the opposite soldiers. The skrull champion kills 13 men in just one flick of his mace. Enraged after seeing that Paula attacks the champion with beams from her torch which the skrull champion defends. Her torch then emits a whip as she lands a blow at the champion who is a tower infront of her. But with her cosmic powers with the whip the champion defends.

Gawdd with his special beam gun from his arm attacks the champion from behind to no avail. The skrulls fight strongly with the champion on their side. The champion angered throws his mace at Gawdd. Gawwd frightened with the size of the mace tries to fire all of the bullets towards the mace and manages to defend. But the champion catches him in this process. Just as the champion is about to pull Gawdd head from his shoulders an arrows pierces the champions eye all the way to the back of his head. Their champion falls at the ground. The skrulls look at the top to see John with a bow in his hand and Paul behind him. With their champion dead the skrulls now fight in fear as most of them are now butchered by the attacking troops of Xarta and Commandos. After a few moments all of the Krulls are dead with their camps burning in fire. All of the victorious men look at the champion riding a horse who slayed a skrull monster.

“Even a canonball couldn’t kill that beast, 500 years old and now he is defeated and not just defeated slayed. We have won. “cries Ajax. Charlie looks at the white horse and the brave soldier who rides it. “I was right about him” He whispers to himself.
