A Jade Force Story
Misera from its founding has not been stable.There a suppressed indigenous population and a repressed population controlled by selfish political types. A civil war erupts. The government hires Jade Force to put down the rebellion so that Jade Force can kill off the protesters. Blame is easy to deflect - it wasn't us, it was Jade Force who massacred the crowd in the square.

Ryan Uruks is steadily on his way to becoming a powerful Elemental. After stopping the war between the Ministries, Ryan, along with his unrequited love interest, Eclair Hamashe, set out to take the Second Level Placement Exams, furthering their careers as Elementals. They'll meet many new friends and rivals along the way, including a flirtatious young Werewolf maiden, as their trials take them to the home of the mysterious Light Monks.

Can everyone make a difference? I believe Jesus answered that question. He was not rich or even well educated. We need to love our fellow man and treat them as we would like to be treated.

Please read part 1 of Volume 2 before starting this novel. The story picks up directly after the events of part 1. While training on the moon of Galsin, Ryan and his friends are beset by mysterious forces under the command of the Fallen. At the same time, Ryan's teacher, Eramar Razor, is on the trail of a death cult known as the Mages who are in league with the Fallen. Revelations abound as our heroes discover truths they would have preferred to remain hidden.

Fearing that he might be awakening the Berserker State, Ryan considers leaving Squad 99 so as not to endanger Eclair. Before he can make up his mind, the team is sent on two separate missions. Leon leads the others against the Space Pirates of Nirvana, while Eclair and Ryan go on a trade negotiation mission in the far reaches of space. Romance and drama abound as our heroes encounter new dangers, new friends, and new enemies.

The problem with beautiful women is that they are beautiful. They work their way into a man's head and turn him into a blithering idiot. Even worse, as far as Magus is concerned, stunningly gorgeous women are attracted to men of intelligence like moths to a candle.

I wrote this for a competition a story that was inspired by another story. I really loved this story. This is a story about what might happen if a goddess takes more than a liking to you when she isn't supposed to. Her being an Egyptian goddess, can a mere mortal hope to survive? Especially when her mother and more evil sister get involved? Then her half sisters get involved!

This takes place five years after the events of A Welcome guest. What if the good deeds one did for one group of gods, sparked more than the interest of another group?
