Continuing the award winning series - I recommend reading Books One - Four first, even with the prologue here. There was a rocket, but the occupant wasn't a baby. A young man (Cal) is the sole survivor of his planet, crash landing in Kansas in 1984. Cal is found by a farmer and his daughter, and learns what it is to be a human on Earth. A Jade Force Story
The war is over as far as the major powers are concerned. They packed up their toys and went home satisfied that they gave it their best shot. There's only one problem - no one told the Jade Empire that the war is over and they are rather insistent that the losers surrender and pay reparations.

Mike lives through "interesting times" that follow when terrorists bring the 'War On Terror' to the United States. The graduating cadets get their first contract. They are tasked with ending a civil war in Kale. A lowly officer in the pathetic Kale Air Force shows that sometimes spirit counts as much as training.

A story in the Gabatrix Series (TheUniverseofCMed) Universe
Set in 2351 following the events of Gabatrix: Legacy, Operation Reliquary is underway. A small task force of ships is dispatched to the fringes of enemy territory. Their goal: to seek out the Alara'jal, the titans of the Itrean race. A paleontologist participates in this dangerous mission and hopes to seek them out if any of them are still alive.
