This story is both very funny, and a portrayal of a quite believable non-human human being.

They were such cute synthetic creatures, it was impossible not to love them. Of course, that was precisely why they were dangerous!

If this story has a moral, it is: "Leave well enough alone." Just look what happened to Kenzie "mad-about-ants" MacKenzie, who didn't....
