A story in the A True History Universe
This is a continuation of the series - there is a prologue, but I recommend reading Books One - Three first. There was a rocket, but the occupant wasn't a baby. A young man (Cal) is the sole survivor of his planet, crash landing in Kansas in 1984. Cal is found by a farmer and his daughter, and learns what it is to be human. NOTE: Any names and/or other similarities between people, living, dead, or fictional are purely coincidental (maybe). Posts every Week.
The chartered Zarathustra Company had it all their way. Their charter was for a Class III uninhabited planet, which Zarathustra was, and it meant they owned the planet lock stock and barrel. They exploited it, developed it and reaped the huge profits from it without interference from the Colonial Government. Then Jack Holloway, a sunstone prospector, appeared on the scene with his family of Fuzzies and the passionate conviction that they were not cute animals but little people.
A Jade Force Story (14) The war is over as far as the major powers are concerned. They packed up their toys and went home satisfied that they gave it their best shot. There's only one problem - no one told the Jade Empire that the war is over and they are rather insistent that the losers surrender and pay reparations.
Our Hero, Sid, returns to Chaos to face his greatest challenge. After assembling a small cadre of advisors, Sid recruits a small army to take on the slavers and to rescue three Damsels in Distress who have become enslaved. Follow his exploits as one of four generals in the Chaos Slave War.

This is the tale of Bradley after he left Fort Dinosaur upon the west coast of the great lake that is in the center of the island. About them upon the ground, among the trees and in the air over them moved and swung and soared the countless forms of Caspak's teeming life. Always were they menaced by some frightful thing and seldom were their rifles cool.
Amy doesn't know it, but a couple of Druids have taken an interest in her and her Friday night activities. That's the good news. The bad news is that one of them is Happy Harry.

There was a rocket, carrying the sole survivor from a doomed planet to Earth that landed in Kansas in 1984. The occupant of that capsule was NOT a baby, but a teenaged boy. This is the second volume in how Cal learns about life here on Earth, grows up, and changes our world. NOTE: Any names and/or other similarities between people, living, dead, or fictional are purely coincidental (maybe).
