Disguised as a voluntary prisoner on a pirate space ship, an I. F. P. man penetrates the mystery of the dreaded "Solar Scourge.

Hudson lay in his sleeping bag, staring at the sky. It bothered him a lot. There was not one familiar constellation, not one star that he could name with any certainty. This juggling of the stars, he thought, emphasized more than anything else in this ancient land the vast gulf of years which lay between him and the Earth where he had been-or would be-born.

Herbert was truly a gentleman robot. The ladies' slightest wish was his command....

The man I searched for could be anybody at all. If I didn't find him, there'd be nobody at all.

There were no vacuums in Space Regulations, so Swenson--well, you might say he knew how to plot courses through sub-ether legality!

When a man has a great deal of knowledge, it becomes extremely easy for him to confuse "knowledge" with "wisdom". and forget that the antonym of "wisdom" is not "ignorance" but "folly."

Enslaved by a triangular powered despotism--one lone man sets his sights to the Six Bright Stars and eventual freedom of his world.

This story is both very funny, and a portrayal of a quite believable non-human human being.
