A story in the A True History Universe
Continuing the award winning series - I recommend reading Books One - Four first, even with the prologue here. There was a rocket, but the occupant wasn't a baby. A young man (Cal) is the sole survivor of his planet, crash landing in Kansas in 1984. Cal is found by a farmer and his daughter, and learns what it is to be a human on Earth. NOTE: Any names and/or other similarities between people, living, dead, or fictional are purely coincidental (maybe). Posts every OTHER Sunday (for now).

There was a rocket, but the occupant wasn't a baby. A young man (Cal) is the sole survivor of his planet, crash landing in Kansas in 1984. Cal is found by a farmer and his daughter, and ends up being her friend and lover, as well as... well, read on, to find out what happens in this coming of age story. NOTE: Any names and/or other similarities between people, living, dead, or fictional are purely coincidental. (Maybe.) - 30 chapters of Book One.
A Make the Cut Story (3) John was lucky to survive after the disaster which arose from the expedition to Sri Lanka. Now, he and his A.I. friend Naomi must find a way to use what they learned to take the fight to the enemy. Not only do they have to find a way of disabling the master artificial intelligence in control of the Earth, but they also have to deal with the worse threat approaching from interstellar space.
Imperium (4) The Tide Turns. Britannia is finally free from Carthaginian rule. Now it is up to Ky, a test pilot from the far future and current Consul of the new Britannic Empire, to take the fight to the Carthaginian Empire. The continent, with its vast resources and manpower, awaits. However, it takes more than new weapons to turn an ancient army based around heavy infantry into one out of the Napoleonic era.
The world ends on October 23, 2077. Tina Wilson seems to be the Sole Survivor of Vault 111 after the nuclear holocaust. Her life, and what she does after leaving, is this story. This is a fanfic based upon the Bethesda Softworks game Fallout 4. I have included a foreword for those not familiar with the world, but knowledge of what happened is not necessary. The world is Bethesda's, what the characters do is mine. Some rather explicit sex at points when important to the characters.
Captain Marc Parker makes a living making four-year hyperspace round-trips to trade with the Karkallians, a race distant from Terra. He meets and falls in love with a beautiful young Karkallian woman, all while trying to avoid screwing up and committing a faux pas while dealing with different social norms between Terrans and Karkallians. He also has to deal with what he learns about her father. Inadvertently becoming involved in a political intrigue, Parker suddenly finds that he's now a targe
Space. Ships. Pirates. Space-ships and Space-pirates! Containing scenes of mild and not so mild peril! Comments welcome. Constructive good, bad and even indifferent comments, may gain their creators names a moment of brief immortality within future additions- (Disclaimer: if they can be pronounceable).
I wrote this from a dream I had for a week. As a wise man once said everything is not as it would seem. Ray could definitely say that it was true. Besides after they upped his senses the world was definitely a different place.
Imperium (1) An Uncertain Future in a New Past. During the test flight of a prototype faster-than-light craft, Lt. Commander Ky is flung into the ancient past that never existed. Rome has fallen, defeated by the mighty Carthaginian Empire. Hounded by the Carthaginians bent on conquering the known world, Rome is on the verge of destruction. Stranded and alone, except for a tactical AI implanted in his head, Ky has lost everything and must find a way to live in a world different than anything he's ever known.
A Make the Cut Story (2) Book Two of the Make the Cut series. (reading book one is advised)
